The Role
Bunbury SHS is seeking an energetic and passionate learning support, intervention and engagement teacher to join their high performing team. We are seeking a dynamic individual with an enthusiasm and commitment to the development of differentiated learning across a range of Learning Areas.
The successful applicant should be able to display exceptional and contemporary evidence-based standards of teaching that supports secondary aged students with additional learning and engagement needs. They would possess excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be capable of differentiating content in an engaging manner, aiming to provide students with a purposeful learning experience that is tailored to their individual achievement profile.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents is critical to the role. Additionally, the applicant should be a highly effective team member, actively contributing to a positive culture of success where students are motivated to achieve their personal best. Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
