Casual to Permanent Opportunity — ReFit Studio & Gym

Location: ReFit Studio & Gym, Brooklyn VIC
Employment Type: Casual with opportunity to become permanent
Hours: Starting from 10+ hours per week, with room to grow

ReFit Studio & Gym is looking for a passionate, reliable, and energetic Personal Trainer / Group Fitness Coach / Gym Assistant All-Rounder to join our growing team.

We are a newly opened community-focused gym offering 24/7 access, strength training, functional fitness, group classes, and recovery facilities. As our membership base grows, we are looking for the right person to grow with us.

This role is ideal for someone who loves fitness, enjoys working with people, and is happy to be involved in all areas of the gym — from coaching and member support to sales, gym floor engagement, cleaning, admin, and helping create a great member experience.

About the Role

This is a casual role starting from 10+ hours per week, with the opportunity to increase hours and move into a permanent position as the gym continues to grow.

You will be involved in:

Personal training sessions
Coaching group fitness classes
Supporting members on the gym floor
Helping with new member sign-ups and enquiries
Running fitness consultations and gym inductions
Following up leads and trial pass enquiries
Keeping the gym clean, safe, and well-presented
Assisting with social media content and club promotions
Creating a welcoming and positive environment for members

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a growing gym from the early stages and help shape the culture of the club.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Friendly, confident, and approachable
Passionate about health, fitness, and helping people
Comfortable coaching both individuals and groups
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Willing to help across all areas of the gym
Confident speaking with members and new leads
Motivated to grow within the business
Positive, energetic, and team-focused
Open to learning sales, systems, and gym operations

This role would suit a trainer who wants more than just PT hours and is interested in building a long-term career in the fitness industry.

Qualifications Required

Certificate III in Fitness required
Certificate IV in Fitness preferredCurrent First Aid and CPRWorking With ChildrenCheck preferred
Experience in personal training, group fitness, sales, or customer service is highly regarded

Newer trainers are welcome to apply if they have the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
