Full Job Description

BOSS Fitness Female Studio is looking for a caring and friendly Child Minder to join our team.

We are a female-focused fitness studio dedicated to helping women feel stronger, fitter and more confident in a supportive environment. Our child minding service helps mums enjoy their training sessions knowing their children are safe, happy and cared for while they work out.

About the role

As a Child Minder, you will supervise and care for children in our studio child minding area during class times. You will help create a calm, safe and welcoming space for children while supporting our members to feel comfortable and confident leaving their little ones in your care.

You will be responsible for:

Supervising children during scheduled class times (8.30am-12pm)
Creating a safe, friendly and caring environment
Engaging children with age-appropriate activities and play
Supporting children who may need comfort or reassurance
Maintaining a clean and tidy child minding area
Communicating with parents and staff in a professional and friendly manner

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

Caring, patient and responsible
Friendly, approachable and reliable
Confident supervising young children
Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple children
Great at communicating with parents and team members
Passionate about supporting mums in their fitness journey

Requirements

Working With Children Check
Current First Aid and CPR
Experience working with children preferred, but not essential
Availability for Monday - Saturday mornings is highly regarded
This is a subcontracted role an ABN is required

Pay: $29.47 – $43.68 per hour
