We’re looking for an experienced EMC Test Engineer to join our team and play a hands-on role in testing, assessments, inspections and certification activities across a wide range of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your skills contribute directly to product safety and compliance, while also gaining exposure to leading-edge technology.
What You’ll Do
· Perform testing, assessments, inspections, and calibrations to National and International Standards and documented procedures
· Construct, maintain, and repair in-house test equipment
· Report and coordinate repairs for faulty or suspect test equipment
· Liaise with customers to support product testing and approvals
· Preparation, review and finalise test reports
· Assist in training and mentoring junior staff
What We’re Looking For
· Tertiary qualifications in Electronics and/or Communications
· Previous experience working in a testing lab or electronics repair
· Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025, NATA requirements and/or quality procedures
· Knowledge of EMC standards and regulations such as ACMA, CE, FCC & VCCI
· Competence using spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, EMI receivers and RF test equipment
· Proficiency with Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· A self-motivated, professional approach with a strong commitment to customer service
· Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
