Full Job Description

Join Our Team as a Catering Assistant
Bayswater North | Full-Time | From $30/hour

Do you have experience working with pastry and passionate about quality food in a friendly, fast-paced team? Join us at The Pastry Lounge — a boutique and growing catering business committed to handmade excellence.

What We Offer:

Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm (start time flexible for the right candidate)
No night shifts or weekends
Ability to progress into leadership roles
Supportive and inclusive team culture
Modern, clean facility in Bayswater North
Full training provided — no formal qualifications required
Onsite parking and excellent working conditions

What You’ll Do:

Assist in the daily production of high-quality handmade pastry and bakery goods
Work as part of a small team to meet daily production targets
Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Participate in practical training to learn new skills and techniques

What We’re Looking For:

Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Great attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliability and punctuality
Previous pastry experience a bonus, but not essential
Must have unrestricted Australian work rights (not suitable for student visa holders)
