About the role:
- Provide Allied Health Assistance to clients on a needs bases whilst building on their strengths and developing suitable long-term solutions
- Deliver goal directed therapy services to people with disability. Services will be provided collaboratively with significant others to support a person’s wellbeing, function and community participation in a range of environments.
- Support a small team of Allied Health Professionals by delivering therapy under delegation and supervisor, supporting the delivery of training, and supporting other non-clinical activities.
About you:
- You truly believe in our mission to enable each person we support to live as an equal and empowered citizen
- You are an experienced Allied Health Assistant and have relevant experience in disability services
- You are committed to human-centred approaches, strength-based practices, and supporting inclusion and participation
- You have excellent communication skills and are a team player
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must provide the following:
- Current Driver’s License and your own vehicle
- You are eligible for practicing membership with AHANA
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children’s Check (Employee)
- Valid Australian working Rights and an international Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than (1) year within the last 10 years.
