Basis Expert Consulting Services Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time SAP ABAP Consultant to join our BCS family and work on our client sites.
You will work onsite, representing the BCS brand with a range of customers to gain invaluable experience, quickly.
· Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant
· Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Range: Base Salary 80,000 – 100,000 per year, plus superannuation
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the team to maintain and support SAP modules.
· Prepare technical design and testing documents.
· Optimize applications, identify issues, and implement resolutions.
· Manage changes related to SAP Support Packages and Enhancement Packs.
· Design and implement data dictionary objects and dialog programming components.
· Deliver core ABAP programs, including reports, forms, and function modules.
· Implement enhancements using frameworks like BAdIs and user exits.
· Debug and optimize programs for performance improvement.
· Good working knowledge in Dialog Programming (Screen elements, Screen painter, Table control, Tab script, Screen flow logic, module pool, etc...)
· Very good Core ABAP programming (Classical/Interactive Reports, smart forms, Function Modules, and ALV reports
· Must have worked in Enhancements, user exits, Badi, enhancements etc
· Should possess good debugging skills and expert in Fine-tuning reports
Skills Required/preferred:
· 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP
· Expertise in RICEFW, object-oriented and classical ABAP programming.
· Proficiency in AMDP, CDS views, OData, and modification techniques (Enhancement Framework, BAdIs, User Exits).
· Integration experience with IDOCs, PI/Proxy, APIs, and BDC.
· Skills in Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and SAP Scripts.
· Knowledge of SAP Workflow, BW, APO, HTML5/JavaScript, and SAP UI5.
· Experience with SAP implementations, upgrades, or mergers.
Must have knowledge in ABAP RAP development and Fiori.
