About the Role
As a Casual Administration Officer, you'll provide flexible administrative and clerical support across a range of hospital departments. No two days are the same, with opportunities to work in diverse clinical environments while building valuable healthcare administration experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional reception and customer service support
- Managing telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries
- Assisting with patient admissions and registrations
- Maintaining accurate records and data entry
- Supporting clinical teams with administrative tasks
- Coordinating documentation and filing systems
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with NSW Health procedures

- Demonstrated administration and/or customer service experience

- Ability to work flexibly across different departments
- Completion of all NSW Health onboarding requirements, including relevant checks and mandatory training prior to commencement

Training and Support
You'll be supported from day one through a structured orientation program, mandatory NSW Health training, and guidance from experienced administrative and clinical staff. Additional department-specific training will be provided as required, ensuring you have the tools and confidence to succeed.

Provide high quality administration and customer service to support the services of Organisational Development & Learning to effectively work across the district. This role is responsible for being the first point of contact for enquiries, managing the ODL inbox and supporting all staff with My Health Learning.
