Full-time – 45 hours per week

About Us

Wangara Tyre and Auto is a busy and growing automotive workshop providing tyre fitting, wheel alignments, mechanical repairs, and general servicing to a wide range of customers. We pride ourselves on reliable workmanship, excellent customer service, and a strong team environment.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mechanic / Tyre Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis (45 hours per week). The successful applicant will assist with tyre fitting and balancing, wheel alignments, vehicle servicing, and general mechanical repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Tyre fitting, balancing, and puncture repairs
Wheel alignments
General vehicle servicing and maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
Brake, suspension, and steering repairs
Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Providing friendly and professional customer service

Skills & Experience

Previous experience as a mechanic or tyre fitter preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Current driver’s licence required
Mechanical qualification preferred but not essential for experienced applicants
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
