The Opportunity
CW Wines Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the company’s continued expansion across wholesale distribution and online retail platforms by assisting with market research, marketing strategy development, brand promotion, and campaign coordination. You will analyse market trends, customer preferences, and market performance data to help identify new market opportunities and strengthen brand recognition in both domestic and international markets. In addition, working closely with management, distributors, and external partners, you will contribute to the planning and execution of promotional activities, trade exhibitions, and marketing initiatives that support business growth and enhance the company’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyse wine industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to identify market opportunities for the company’s wine products.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to support wine brand growth across wholesale distribution and online retail platforms.
- Prepare marketing reports and analyse campaign performance data to provide recommendations on wine market positioning and promotional strategies.
- Coordinate and support wine promotional campaigns, trade exhibitions, wine tasting events, and brand marketing activities.
- Monitor market performance and customer feedback to assist in optimising wine product positioning, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.
- Liaise with distributors, external partners, and marketing service providers to support the delivery of wine marketing projects and promotional activities.
- Contribute to the development of creative marketing content and brand communication materials for wine products across various platforms.
- Support management in identifying new opportunities within domestic and international wine markets and strengthening brand recognition.
About You
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably within the wine industry.
- Knowledge of the wine industry, including wine products, market trends, and consumer preferences, will be highly regarded.
- Experience in market research, campaign coordination, social media, or digital marketing activities is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple marketing activities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prepare professional marketing reports and promotional materials.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with internal teams, distributors, external partners, and service providers to support marketing initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying market opportunities and supporting business growth.
- Bilingual or multilingual communication skills are considered an advantage.
