Are you a passionate Senior Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing Assistive Technology (AT) and/or Home Modifications living in Sydney, NSW? ORS is looking for a wonderful Senior Occupational Therapist who is passionate about, and experienced in, providing AT and home modifications supports within NDIS, and is also interested in supporting and mentoring our wider Sydney team in this area. About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing Assistive Technology (AT) and/or Home Modifications living in Perth WA to work alongside, and with, a dedicated team of 120+ OT professionals in our growing national OT NDIS division.
Within this particular role, you will assess and provide intervention for clients aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disabilities, including:

Assistive Technology (AT): Prescribing equipment such as wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters, commodes, hospital beds, and mobile hoists.

Home Modifications (HMs): Assessing and recommending modifications like bathroom alterations, ramp installations, and other home improvements to meet client needs.

Other Assessments & Interventions: Conducting other ORS Occupational Therapy assessment services such as Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments, Sensory Assessments, Functional Capacity Assessments, and ongoing skill building sessions aligned with client’s therapeutic and NDIS goals.

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience prescribing Assistive Technology (AT) or Complex Home Modifications (CHMs)

A car and valid driver’s license

National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain these)
