Gowrie Victoria is seeking a People & Culture Administrator to provide accurate, timely and confidential support across our People & Culture function. At Gowrie Victoria, we are passionate about championing excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care. This role will play an important part in supporting the processes that help us attract, onboard and assist employees across our organisation.
About the Role
The People & Culture Administrator plays a key support role within the People & Culture team, helping ensure employee lifecycle processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and with a strong focus on confidentiality. You will coordinate People & Culture administration, including recruitment and onboarding support, employee record maintenance, HRIS updates, compliance and probity checks, inbox triage, routine reporting, and support for audits, data integrity, and operational improvement projects.
Working within a professional and supportive team, this part-time fixed-term position (until July 2027) offers flexible working arrangements of up to 25 hours per week to be worked across four or five days.
About You
You are a highly organised and detail-focused administrator who takes pride in delivering accurate and efficient support through task-based work. Confident managing competing priorities, deadlines, and follow-up actions, you can work both independently and collaboratively while engaging professionally with stakeholders across the business. You will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgement, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling personal and employee information. Experience across HR, payroll, recruitment, compliance, and workforce management systems would be highly regarded; however we are open to someone with strong Microsoft Office experience, and an aptitude for learning new systems.
You will hold, or be currently studying towards, a qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline. This role may suit a HR student with strong administrative experience, or someone returning to the workforce who is confident working with systems, has a strong eye for detail, and is motivated to contribute to a professional People & Culture function.
