The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
Got What It Takes?
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 5 years' experience with current knowledge of the electrotechnology industry across commercial, industrial, domestic and/or mining sectors
- Mandatory Trade Requirements: Current unrestricted electrical licence and minimum Certificate III in Electrical
- Desirable Qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110/40116/40122)
- Technical Knowledge: Strong practical application of electrical work, including knowledge of the UEE11/20 training package (PLC and renewables an advantage)
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
