About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Solution Designer to join a fast-paced Agile delivery team. This role will be responsible for designing scalable, resilient, and high-quality technology solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and vendors to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities into production.
The successful candidate will have strong experience across solution design, integration architectures, microservices, APIs, and end-to-end delivery from design through to production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and vendors to define solution designs and delivery approaches.
- Produce high-quality solution design documentation and technical specifications.
- Design scalable and resilient API and integration solutions using modern architectural principles.
- Drive solution delivery from requirements through design, build, testing, release, and production deployment.
- Support release planning and ensure safe implementation into production environments.
- Manage technical dependencies, risks, and integration points across multiple systems.
- Provide guidance on infrastructure, application configurations, and third-party integrations.
- Act as the subject matter expert throughout the solution lifecycle.
Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solution Designer, Solution Architect, or equivalent role.
- Proven experience delivering solutions from design through to go-live and production support.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, integration design, infrastructure, and application configurations.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integration solutions.
- Strong knowledge of:
- REST Architecture Principles
- Design Patterns
- OpenAPI / Swagger
- JSON Schema
- SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture)
- Experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with Kafka or similar event-driven messaging platforms.
- Experience working within Azure DevOps environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience within Financial Services, Banking, or Retail Banking environments.
- Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Knowledge of cloud-native and distributed architecture patterns.

Pay: $740.00 – $760.00 per day
