The Facilities Manager will ensure optimal tenant satisfaction through enabling the efficient, cost-effective operation and maintenance of a brand new premium retail shopping centre.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high levels of customer service, maintaining strong tenant satisfaction and stakeholder engagement while meeting all KPIs.
Manage site operating expenditure within budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance, repairs, and capital works delivery.
Ensure smooth building operations with minimal disruption, including oversight of cleaning, security, inspections, and reporting.
Maintain full compliance with legal, safety (WHS), environmental, and client requirements, including contractor compliance.
Oversee contractor and contract management, ensuring performance, executed agreements, and delivery against KPIs.
Support sustainability initiatives, including energy and water efficiency and maintaining NABERS ratings.
Identify, manage, and mitigate operational risks, promoting a zero-harm environment and supporting audits.
Drive efficient property operations through budgeting, defect management, asset performance monitoring, and continuous improvement strategies.
Build strong tenant relationships through clear communication, issue resolution, and proactive service updates.
Manage administrative functions including reporting, budgeting support, contractor meetings, documentation, and emergency response availability.
About You
Proven background in managing facilities within a high quality, premium office asset
Strong financial acumen, including cash and accrual accounting
A professional, approachable style with high attention to detail
Confident communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
Current Certificate of Registration and valid driver’s licence
