Job Description
Insurance is Nearmap's largest and fastest-growing vertical, and this role sits at the center of that growth. As our Regional Marketing Manager for ANZ Insurance, you'll shape how we go to market with insurance carriers, MGAs, and insurtech companies — partnering with Sales leadership as a peer, prioritizing where we place our sharpest resources across a concentrated buyer universe, and feeding what you learn in-market directly into how Nearmap's global insurance strategy takes shape. You'll own the account-targeted (ABX) motion end-to-end for our most strategic insurance accounts, define our event strategy for the region, and be the connective tissue between what buyers are telling us and how our global campaigns evolve.
Own the in-market pipeline strategy for insurance carriers, MGAs, and insurtech companies across ANZ, prioritizing effort across a concentrated buyer universe where the return is greatest.
Partner with Insurance Sales leadership as a peer attend pipeline reviews, know the named accounts, and shape the programs that unblock stalled deals.
Build and run account-targeted (ABX) programs for high-priority carrier clusters, developing cluster playbooks with the Insurance Sales team spanning underwriting, claims, risk, and technology buying committees.
Design and run bespoke 1:1 ABM programs for Nearmap's most strategic insurance accounts, mapped to the buying committee, with joint pipeline targets owned directly with AEs.
Direct BDR/SDR sequencing in partnership with Sales, aligning outbound timing to campaign activity and 6Sense intent signals across the AE pod.
Define the ABX event strategy for ANZ Insurance — which events to anchor, which accounts to target, and the pipeline objective for each — briefing Events Managers on execution.
Partner with the Global Campaign Manager for Insurance to adapt, and where regional market conditions warrant it, shape in-market execution of global campaign programs — closing gaps with locally relevant content, sequencing, and messaging.
Serve as the primary feedback loop from the ANZ insurance market into global campaign strategy — surfacing buyer objections, competitive shifts, and message performance as direct inputs to how Nearmap's insurance strategy evolves.
Track macro trends in property insurance (CAT risk, climate, underwriting profitability, claims transformation) and competitor positioning, translating them into recommendations for both regional execution and global strategy.
Own inbound and influenced pipeline results for ANZ Insurance, reporting on deal acceleration and ABX program performance against account-level targets.
Qualifications

What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree preferred
8+ years in field marketing, ABX, or demand generation in a B2B SaaS or technology company, with a clear record of pipeline contribution
Insurance industry knowledge is essential: deep understanding of how carriers, MGAs, or insurtech companies operate, who the buyers are, and how decisions get made — marketing experience within insurance, insurtech, or adjacent financial services strongly preferred
Proven track record running account-targeted programs and driving joint pipeline accountability with enterprise AE teams
Demonstrated ability to influence senior Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority
Sharp judgment prioritizing a concentrated, high-value account universe
Proficiency with Salesforce, Marketo or HubSpot, and 6Sense; comfortable using intent data and CRM signals to prioritize and activate
