Are you a software engineering looking for your next move in financial markets? I have an exciting opportunity here for a software engineer to join an investment bank and work across their central data piece.

Company
With a global presence, including a team based here in Sydney, his organisation is at the forefront of institutional markets, providing opportunities in a variety of sectors. You will be a part of a collaborative team that is under-going a large amount of project work to help implement platforms/solutions that will enable the research teams to succeed.

Role
Working with C#, Python, and Azure, you will collaborate with various teams to understand business goals, then design, develop, and implement software solutions to help them integrate data into an efficient data platform. This data is used across the business for all trading activity, so it is a crucial project to under-pin the success of the business moving forward.

Requirements

Software engineering background using C# and Python.
Ability to interact with stakeholders, including analysts, traders, developers, and more.
A strong focus on data, with knowledge of data modelling and data pipelines.
Azure cloud experience.
Ideally, you have worked in a financial market’s environment.

This role is going to give you the opportunity to work across a wide variety of projects that are critical in allowing the business to succeed. You will work in a hybrid model and be given the opportunity to grow your career.
