We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This unique role combines guest service, financial reconciliation, and overnight hotel operations, making you an essential part of ensuring our hotel runs smoothly while the city sleeps.
As the overnight representative of the hotel, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain the accuracy of financial records, and support the safe and efficient operation of the property throughout the night.
Permanent full time position
Working across a 7 night rotating roster
Shift times: 11:00pm to 7:30am

The Role:
Reporting to the Front Office leadership team, the Night Auditor plays a critical role in balancing the day’s financial transactions while ensuring our guests receive exceptional service throughout the overnight period.
You will be responsible for completing the nightly audit process, preparing financial reports, assisting guests, monitoring hotel safety and security, and supporting other operational areas when required.
Core Responsibilities:
Complete the nightly audit process, ensuring all hotel revenue and transactions are accurately reconciled.
Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports.
Manage guest arrivals and departures during overnight hours.
Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Monitor hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures throughout the shift.
Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to overnight operations.
Liaise with operational departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
Assist guests with luggage and transport requirements when required.
Support Food and Beverage operations, including room service delivery and guest requests.
Respond to operational issues and make sound decisions in the absence of senior management.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will be a self motivated individual who enjoys working autonomously and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
Previous experience in Front Office, Night Audit or Hospitality preferred.
Experience with hotel management systems such as Opera Cloud and POS systems (preferred).
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
A professional, calm, and solution-focused approach.
High levels of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or willingness to obtain.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
