As a Plant Operator with Council, you will be a valued member of a skilled team delivering planned and reactive road works across the local area. What Do You Need to Be Successful?

Essential

Construction Induction Certification (White Card).
Previous experience in operation of various plant in a construction environment.

Desirable

Class HR driver’s licence.
HRW licence for regulated plant.
Current Implement Traffic Control Plans and Traffic Controller Certification.

Other details relating to this position are:

Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2026.
The positions are grade 4 in Council's salary system.
Gross weekly wage range is $1174.30 to $1264.60 dependent upon the plant operator role, qualifications and experience.
You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job.
