Role Description:
As a Store Person, you will play an integral role ensuring compliance to the receipt, dispatch, inventory and warehousing requirements. You will be part of an inclusive and supportive team.
Core Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials
- Count and check items against delivery documentation
- Match delivered items with relevant purchase order numbers
- Ensure correct handling, labelling, and traceability of all components
- Support despatch activities including packaging and documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Perform stocktakes and cycle counts
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system
- Customer deliveries
Essential Skills:
- Current Forklift Licence – essential
- Current Motor Vehicle Driver’s Licence – essential
- Demonstrated warehousing and freight receipt/dispatching experience
- Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems – highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance and ITAR – mandatory

Viewed as the role model for through-life support contracting, the Hawk Lead-In Fighter project was established by BAE Systems Australia to provide and support an outstanding, state-of-the-art fast jet training capability for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF).
