The Talent Development and Training team aims to centralize and streamline training to ensure an equitable and consistent learning experience across all production departments. Job Summary:
We are hiring a highly organized and passionate Training Coordinator to join our global team and support our growing feature animation studio. Reporting to the Director of Production Training and Talent Development , this key role provides essential administrative support, coordinates a wide range of education and training activities, actively fosters our culture of learning, promotes all training offerings, and assesses quality through attendee feedback.
In addition to internal training support, the Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting early-career and broader outreach initiatives by planning and scheduling events, including studio visits, portfolio critiques, conferences, and academic events, and coordinating administrative support. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated master of planning and scheduling, ready to collaborate closely with our global training department team.
What You’ll Do:
Training Coordination:
Deliver daily administrative assistance in close partnership with the Training team.
Oversee the training calendar, ensuring all events are aligned with broader studio activities.
Organize diverse training initiatives, such as onboarding, studio-wide programs, and department-specific sessions.
Act as the primary liaison for internal and external training department communications.
Prepare and organize instructional materials for new hire orientation.
Create promotional assets, such as digital newsletters and flyers, to highlight available resources and training events.
Utilize a ticketing system to monitor and address incoming training requests.
Work with Artist Managers and their coordinators to facilitate production-specific training needs.
Learning Resource Support & System Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining and updating workshop materials, instructional content, and other educational resources.
Manage the cataloging and organization of recorded training sessions within the Learning Management System (LMS).
Collaborate with Technical Trainers to oversee training facilities, including room configuration and the setup and maintenance of hardware, software, and AV.
Maintain internal training documentation and pages on platforms such as G Suite and Confluence.
Identify and coordinate with external vendors for enrichment activities (e.g., life drawing, sculpting, painting).
Manage the procurement of specialized supplies for enrichment programs and the training library.
Support the adoption and effective use of online learning resources and other educational tools.
Tracking & Reporting:
Oversee the collection and tracking of participant feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of workshops and classes.
Help track and monitor the costs associated with enrichment sessions and other training resources expenditures.
Collaborate with the Director and Tech Trainers to provide necessary reporting and operational assistance.
Outreach & Engagement:
Support early career outreach through general administrative and event coordination for both internal and external outreach visits, portfolio critiques, conferences, festivals, studio, and other academic-based events, workshops, and related initiatives. This includes planning, scheduling, travel, and accommodation logistics.
Collaborate with media coordinators to fulfill requests for promotional assets and support branding-related events.
Manage post-event requirements to ensure all necessary follow-up actions are finalized.
What You’ll Need:
Experience:
3+ years in training administration/coordination or related areas. (training events, scheduling, early career program coordination, etc.)
Knowledge/Skills:
Experience in a studio/production environment in animation.
Proficiency in Google Suite and calendaring system, Airtable.
Experience in event planning and logistics.
Familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) and foundational design expertise is a plus.

This role is based in Sydney, Australia. Hybrid Role (Minimum requirement of 3 days a week in the office).
