Junior / Associate Full Stack Developer

Location: Rhodes
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: From AUD $85,000 per annum plus superannuation

About the Role
We are seeking a Junior / Associate Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 1 year full-time commercial experience to join our development team. The successful candidate will be involved in developing, maintaining, testing, and supporting web-based applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and JavaScript technologies
Build and support backend services, APIs, and database-driven applications
Develop responsive user interfaces using React
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and software maintenance
Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software quality
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Support CI/CD deployment processes
Work with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver software solutions

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 1 year full-time commercial software development experience
Experience with PHP and at least one PHP framework such as CakePHP, Laravel, Symfony, or similar
Experience with React Frameworks
Experience with JavaScript and jQuery
Strong HTML5 and CSS3 skills
Experience writing and maintaining unit tests
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Basic experience with AWS services or similar technologies
Experience with Git version control
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture

Preferred Qualifications

Qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
