About the role
The Tournaments & Events Coordinator plays a key role in the planning, coordination and delivery of tennis tournaments, competitions, and participation events across the calendar. Working closely with internal teams, Member Associations, and external partners, this role supports the seamless execution of events from local activations to major tournaments. The position ensures high-quality event delivery while enhancing participant and spectator experience, and driving ongoing engagement with tennis at all levels.
In this role you will be responsible for:

Coordinate the delivery of tournaments, competitions, and participation events aligned with national tennis strategies and priorities.

Liaise with Member Associations, clubs, and stakeholders to deliver consistent and well-organised tournaments and activations.

Manage event logistics including scheduling, equipment, venue coordination, and on-site operations.

Assist with the promotion of tournaments and events to maximise participation and audience engagement.

Maintain accurate records and reporting across tournament activity, participation outcomes, and event performance.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:

Demonstrated experience in coordinating events, tournaments, or competitions.

Strong organisational and administration skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Experience working with stakeholders such as clubs, associations, or event partners.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and contribute to shared outcomes.

Proficiency in systems, databases, and event management tools.
-
A proactive and adaptable approach, particularly in fast-paced event environments.

Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
-
Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis NSW
