Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated tests using a BDD-based automation framework.
- Configure, manage, and maintain test environments to support both automation and functional testing activities.
- Ensure automated test scripts are stable, reusable, and effective across all generated customer communication documents.
- Perform business rule validation for generated insurance documents.
- Maintain detailed bug reports, delivery notes, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to peer reviews of test cases and actively participate in review meetings and walkthrough sessions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide regular status updates on test progress and risks.
Required SkillsCore Automation & Technical Expertise
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Testing Specialist (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in test automation, with proficiency in tools such as Ruby/Cucumber and Selenium (mandatory).
- Strong expertise in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, particularly Cucumber (mandatory).
- Practical experience with at least one programming language, such as Java, Ruby, TypeScript or Python (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or similar.
Integration & Methodology
- Solid experience in API testing using tools like SoapUI or Postman, including working with and validating complex XML structures.
- Good understanding of context-based and risk-based testing approaches for complex business applications.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
Leadership & Delivery
- Proven track record of working on large-scale, enterprise-wide technology platforms.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior to mid-level testers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
