Packleader Labour Hire is recruiting on behalf of Packleader BPO Services for an experienced and motivated Web Developer to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain innovative digital solutions that enhance user experience, support business objectives, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation's online platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications for Packleader BPO Services.
- Develop custom features and functionality to support business operations and digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and operational teams to deliver engaging user experiences.
- Ensure websites are responsive, secure, and optimized for performance across all devices and browsers.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing web applications and platforms.
- Implement and manage Content Management Systems (CMS), including WordPress.
- Monitor website performance and analytics and recommend continuous improvements.
- Implement SEO best practices to improve online visibility and search engine rankings.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and software solutions where required.
- Stay current with emerging web technologies, trends, and development best practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related discipline.
- Minimum two (2) years of professional experience as a Web Developer.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining websites and web applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web development projects.
- Proficiency in:
- WordPress
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- Responsive web design
- Experience editing WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience or knowledge within the renewable energy, sustainability, or solar industries.
- Familiarity with web hosting environments such as Bluehost and GoDaddy.
- Experience with server-side development technologies such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience using modern web development tools and workflows.
