The Opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Optical Retail Assistant or Optical Dispenser to join us across two of our beautiful stroes, Gladesville (1–2 days per week) and Cherrybrook (1 day per week).
This is a fantastic, highly flexible casual role totalling roughly 2 to 3 regular days per week. We can happily work around your availability across Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Ideally, you are someone who loves the stability of regular weekly days but has the flexibility to step up and cover additional days across both locations when there are peak periods or team members go on leave!
What a typical day looks like:

Help customers choose the perfect frames and lenses to match their personal style, lifestyle, and prescription needs.
- Take precise optical measurements, fit and adjust frames, and manage collections (experience is a massive bonus, but we are happy to train the right person!).
- Greet patients, manage appointments, answer enquiries, and maintain a seamless, welcoming front-of-house environment.
- Keep the retail floor looking immaculate, organised, and beautifully merchandised.
About You:
While optical dispensing or optometry experience is highly valued, it isn’t essential. If you are a customer service superstar with experience in health-related retail, or a University Student looking for a consistent, rewarding role that easily fits around your study timetable, we want to hear from you!
