Hatch has been selected as the preferred Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) partner for Arafura Rare Earths’ Nolans Project in the Northern Territory. Located approximately 135km north of Alice Springs, Nolans is set to become Australia’s first fully integrated ore-to-oxide rare earths operation and a globally significant supplier of critical minerals essential for electric vehicles, renewable energy and advanced technologies. With Final Investment Decision achieved in May 2026, the project is now transitioning into execution, with construction activities ramping up.
We are now seeking experienced Senior Site Manager, Construction Managers, Site Services Managers, Superintendents and Supervisors to join our existing execution team and play a key role in establishing and delivering this major project. These roles will be FIFO-based operating on a 15 days on / 6 days off roster.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the safe and efficient delivery of construction works across designated packages or areas of the project

Support early works, mobilisation and establishment of site infrastructure, including camp and facilities

Oversee contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project standards, schedule and budget

Drive a strong safety culture aligned to project and client expectations

Coordinate across engineering, procurement and construction teams to ensure seamless execution

Monitor progress, manage risks and resolve site-based issues in a timely manner

Contribute to workforce planning, logistics and site readiness for large-scale operations

Maintain clear reporting and stakeholder communication across all phases of delivery
About You
You are an experienced construction leader with a strong track record delivering large-scale resource, infrastructure or major projects in Australia. You bring proven capability managing site-based teams and contractors, ideally within remote or FIFO environments, and are confident leading through early works, site establishment and full construction delivery. Experience working on complex processing plants, mining or critical minerals projects will be highly regarded. You understand the importance of safety, planning and disciplined execution, and can operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth project environments. Your ability to build strong relationships and lead teams on the ground will be critical to the success of this project. Applicants from; Darwin, Alice Springs and Brisbane also welcome
