Key Responsibilities

Architectural Blueprinting: Design and document robust, secure, and highly scalable cloud-native architectures [e.g., Microservices / Event-Driven] that meet performance and business compliance standards.
Technical Leadership & Governance: Establish clear coding standards, architectural patterns, and structural best practices. Conduct regular design and code reviews with senior developers.
Tech Stack Evaluation: Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and third-party integrations to future-proof the business platform.
Stakeholder Management: Translate high-level business goals into precise technical execution plans, effectively communicating technical strategies to non-technical executives and board members.
Mentorship: Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges, actively coaching and raising the capabilities of our software engineers.

Experience & Qualifications

Required:

5+ years of commercial software engineering experience, with at least 3+ years spent explicitly in an architectural or principal engineer capacity.
Expertise in modern cloud ecosystems [select matching: AWS / Microsoft Azure / GCP] and distributed system design patterns.
Deep proficiency across a broad range of backend and frontend languages [e.g., Java, .NET Core, Node.js, React].
Exceptional communication and presentation skills; proven capability navigating corporate stakeholder environments.

Pay: $90.00 – $115.00 per hour
