About the role
The Senior Business Operations Coordinator provides essential business, financial and project coordination support to the Sport and Destination Events team. You will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the team by coordinating key processes, managing workflows and maintaining accurate records across a range of event investment and business activities. The role also involves preparing reports, presentations, submissions and other documentation to support informed decision-making and effective stakeholder communication.
You will play an important part in monitoring budgets, financial reporting and forecasting, while supporting the delivery of projects and business initiatives across the division. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders, you will help improve systems, processes and ways of working to ensure activities are delivered efficiently and in line with organisational objectives. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to contribute to major sporting and destination events while supporting continuous improvement across the team.

About You
You have experience in business administration and finance with a strong track record of coordinating business operations, managing budgets and supporting project delivery. You are confident working with financial information, including budget tracking, forecasting, cash flow monitoring and reporting, and have experience using CRM, database and workflow management systems to support efficient business processes.
You are highly organised and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. With strong written and verbal communication skills, you can prepare clear reports, briefs and correspondence and build productive working relationships with a range of stakeholders. You also bring experience in business reporting, contract administration or project coordination, along with the ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
