Ready to take your technical skills out into the field? If you are someone who enjoys working hands-on, solving problems, and bringing systems to life on-site, this could be the perfect next step.

We are looking for a practical, solutions-focused technician with strong initiative and a “get it done” mindset. This is a highly hands-on role where you will be out in the field supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty work, not sitting behind a desk.

Description:

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to:

build on their technical or trade background in a specialised field role
stay hands-on, working on real projects and systems
deepen their knowledge of commissioning and smart lighting systems like Zoneworks
work closely with experienced Technical Services Managers and engineering teams
take ownership of technical outcomes and grow their skillset in a supportive environment

You will be part of a team that shares knowledge, supports each other, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

What you will be doing

You will play a key role in supporting the commissioning and ongoing performance of our systems by:

supporting the Technical Services Manager (TSM) with commissioning of Clevertronics products and systems
assisting with on-site warranty repairs, rectifications, and defect liability work
commissioning Zoneworks projects in line with our established processes
providing technical support and guidance to subcontractors on-site
troubleshooting issues and working through practical solutions
liaising with the engineering team to build your technical knowledge and apply it in the field
helping deliver training to subcontractors and service partners
ensuring work meets quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction standards

Skills and Experiences:
This role is perfect for someone who…

has a technical or trade background (electrical is highly regarded but not essential)
has some understanding of programming or IT/network-based systems
is a strong problem solver with a logical, analytical mindset
enjoys troubleshooting and figuring things out on-site
communicates clearly and can explain technical concepts in simple terms
is customer-focused and takes pride in delivering great service
has strong attention to detail and a high standard of work
is self-motivated, responsive, and enjoys working as part of a team
brings a hands-on approach and is keen to learn and grow
