We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Advisor to join our People & Culture team at Consolidated Minerals. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the recruitment function, driving workforce strategies that enhance overall business performance, while supporting both site-based operations and corporate teams. You’ll play a key role in partnering with hiring managers to ensure the organisation is equipped with the right talent to meet current and future workforce demands.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
- Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines to support future workforce planning.
- Conduct regular site visits to foster strong relationships and gain insights into operational recruitment requirements.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and white-collar roles, from advertising through to offer when required.
- Support the development and execution of workforce planning strategies
- Workforce plan including FTE analysis, detail future capability requirements, succession plans, and market mapping to source talent
- Developing new initiatives for example - EVP (Employee Value Proposition) and roll out, and developing a recruitment strategy
- Design and monitor reports on all recruitment assignments and activities.
- Provide support and contribute to People & Culture project work, key activities, and operational needs.
The successful candidate will need to be available for occasional trips to our Woodie Mine Operation (with sufficient notice).
Skills & Qualifications required to be successful in this role:
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment of blue-and white-collar positions, ideally within the mining or resources sector.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for finding the right people for the right roles.
- Pro-active nature, with the ability to meet operational deadlines.
- High attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills
- Exposure to Workforce Planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, managing stakeholders at all levels
- 5 years previous experience within Human Resources
- Exposure to Mining industry (preferred)
- Systems experience (ELMO, Oracle, INX)
