Your New Role
Reporting to the Business Analysis Team Lead, the Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role within the Investment Group Delivery team, supporting initiatives across Investment Services.
This role is responsible for analysing and enhancing business solutions across people, process and technology, contributing to the successful delivery of complex projects in a rapidly evolving capital markets environment. You will work across front, middle and back-office functions, partnering with stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to design and implement scalable, high-quality solutions.
You will play a key role in evolving platforms, services and capabilities that underpin the Group’s operating model, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver value for members.
In this role, you’ll:
- Act as SME and specialist across Capital Markets, Calypso and other execution management systems
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to support requirements elicitation, issue identification, solution design, decision making
- Manage our vendors and strategic partners using your extensive domain expertise within the platform
- Analyse current state processes and systems to identify root causes, risks and improvement opportunities
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions, including for capital markets platforms such as Calypso
- Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle including design, build, testing, deployment and transition to operations
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, support decision-making and align outcomes
- Manage dependencies, risks and impacts in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders
Document business processes, service design improvements and future state solutions

What You’ll Need
- Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) as a Business Analyst within capital markets or investment environments and Calypso
- Strong knowledge of front, middle and back-office operations (e.g. trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, regulatory reporting)
- Demonstrated experience working with capital markets platforms such as Calypso and/or similar systems
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end requirements lifecycle and deliver outcomes in complex project environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups
Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and present to senior stakeholders
