As a DevOps Engineer within our Clinical Applications Technical Services (CATS) team, you will play a key role in designing systems architecture and ensuring the successful build, delivery, operation and ongoing performance of clinical platforms aligned to strategic roadmaps.
As an integral member of the Clinical Applications Services team, you will:
- Lead, develop, deploy and maintain complex cloud-based solution implementations — including migrations and system enhancements — within architectural, security and code quality guidelines, with a focus on performance, scalability and sustainability.
- Manage system performance, availability and issues — including proactive problem resolution, defect management and environmental incidents — while devising and communicating solutions for business acceptance and maintaining technical documentation across projects and BAU.
- Drive continuous improvement through change and event management, collaborate with senior engineers to support roadmap planning, delivery and risk alignment, and build internal capability through training and mentoring.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has hands-on experience deploying cloud infrastructure solutions, with a proven track record in designing, building, and implementing IaaS and PaaS solutions mainly in AWS with exposure to Azure.
- Brings 3+ years of experience setting up infrastructure for cloud-native applications, with a strong grasp of governance, security, identity management, monitoring, and automation practices.
- Understands business continuity principles and can ensure systems and processes are designed to prevent single points of failure.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to actively listen, understand requirements, ask relevant questions, and convey solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
