Position Overview
The Web Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining responsive websites, web applications, and digital platforms that deliver exceptional user experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with designers, content creators, and project managers to create functional, visually appealing, and scalable web solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain websites and web applications.
- Create responsive and mobile-friendly user interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to implement website features and functionality.
- Develop front-end and back-end components to support business requirements.
- Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website performance, functionality, and security issues.
- Optimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and accessibility.
- Maintain website content management systems and perform regular updates.
- Conduct code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and support ongoing website enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies including Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar platforms.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with WordPress, Shopify, or other content management systems.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of web security, SEO principles, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms and deployment tools.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
