About the role
As a Porter at The Langham, Sydney, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, helping to create memorable experiences from the moment they arrive. From assisting with luggage to valet services and responding to guest requests, your role is essential in delivering seamless, world-class service
Reporting to the Chief Concierge you will be responsible for:
- Assist guests with luggage and personal items, creating a warm, professional, and memorable first impression
- Safely manage and valet guest vehicles with courtesy, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Respond promptly and proactively to all guest requests, anticipating needs and delivering exceptional service in line with our “Taking Initiative” culture
- Provide courteous, professional, and efficient front-line service at all times, ensuring guest satisfaction

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experiences:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a five-star hotel is highly desirable
- Available to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts as required
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming standards
- Basic computer literacy and confident telephone skills
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Hold a valid NSW Manual Driver’s Licence
