Your key responsibilities:
Assist and participate in the planning, design, analysis, maintenance, and support of SIMS software used within QH to enable the management of service agreements between QH and other organisations, including the allocation of funds to service providers, and the management, performance monitoring and reporting functions associated with the Queensland Rural Generalist Pathway (QRGP).
Proactively maintain and support Finance Solutions applications in accordance with Queensland Health data management practices, financial management practices, quality management practices (ISO: 9001), public administration policies (related to Freedom of Information, Judicial Review etc) and eHealth Queensland IT Service Management processes.
Analyse performance results and provide high level specialist support, advice, and recommendations, on management processes and the operation of integrated complex applications to ensure service levels with external agencies meet defined performance standards and contribute to improvement proposals to elevate quality standards whilst ensuring the impact of any changes to the components supporting applications are fully understood and defined service levels are maintained.
Role fit
While not mandatory, a relevant IT qualification and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or other relevant training and education certifications from accredited institutions, would be well regarded.
Demonstrated knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of SIMS Modules and other Information Systems software utilised by Queensland Health, specifically relational databases based on Oracle software, including demonstrated experience with system testing procedures and specific knowledge of Oracle SQL script creation for reporting purposes.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive education packages, showcasing expertise in design, creation, packaging, and ongoing management of materials and resources to support effective organisational learning.
