What’s the job?

The purpose of the Clinical Placement Administrator is to provide high level administrative support to the Clinical Placement team nationally, with a key focus on supporting the Community Services Program. The role is responsible for coordinating critical administrative tasks associated with student placements, including student communications, placement documentation, compliance requirements and maintaining accurate student and facility records.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and industry placement partners, you will help support students undertaking placements across community services and related disciplines, contributing to a positive student experience and successful placement outcomes.

Principle accountabilities (but not limited to):

Respond to student enquiries regarding clinical placement requirements
Working with the Clinical Placement Coordinators, allocate students to appropriate clinical facilities in line with their program requirements
Provide administrative support to health & education industry team
Ensure information relating to students and facilities is up to date and recorded accurately in the placement management system in SharePoint and/or InPlace/Careers Connect (as appropriate)
Contribute to the preparation of orientation and class presentations (eg PowerPoint presentation and materials for students)

Who you are:

Previous experience in administration, placements coordination, student support or a similar role within Community Services, Counselling, Health, Education or Human Services environments will be highly regarded
Qualification in Community Services, Counselling or a related discipline preferred
Understanding of community services programs, professional placements or industry-based learning desirable
Passion for supporting students entering community-focused professions and working within purpose-driven environments
Proven organisational skills with an ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while working under pressure
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a national team
