Casual Community Nursing Pool – Registered Nurses (RN) & Enrolled Nurses (EN)

Perth Metropolitan, Rockingham and Mandurah Areas

Guardian Home Support

Guardian Home Support is a growing Perth-based home and community care provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred, clinically governed care to older Australians and veterans in the community.

As part of our continued growth and expansion into Community Nursing and aged care services, we are currently establishing a casual nursing pool of experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to support future service delivery across the Perth metropolitan, Rockingham and Mandurah regions.

This opportunity is ideal for nurses seeking flexible, community-based work in a supportive, clinically focused environment.

About the Opportunity

Successful applicants will join Guardian Home Support’s casual nursing pool and may be engaged to provide community nursing services to clients in their own homes, depending on operational requirements, client needs and service demand.

Services may include:

Clinical assessments.
Wound care management.
Medication administration and support.
Chronic disease management.
Continence support.
Post-hospital care.
Palliative and supportive care.
Clinical monitoring and documentation.
Coordination with GPs, allied health and care teams.

All services are delivered under the oversight of our Clinical Manager (RN) and in accordance with our Clinical Governance Framework.

Employment Details

Casual employment.
Paid under the Nurses Award 2020 – Aged Care stream.
Award rates plus applicable penalties and loadings.
Flexible availability and community-based shifts.
Service areas include Perth metropolitan, Rockingham and Mandurah.

Essential Requirements – Registered Nurses (RN)

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.
Minimum 2 years post-registration experience in community, aged care or clinical nursing.
Current National Police Clearance.
Current CPR / Basic Life Support certification.
Current Manual Handling competency.
Infection Prevention and Control training.
Medication management competency.
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
Strong clinical documentation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently within a community setting.

Essential Requirements – Enrolled Nurses (EN)

Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with no restrictions.
Experience in aged care, home care or community nursing preferred.
Current National Police Clearance.
Current CPR / Basic Life Support certification.
Current Manual Handling competency.
Infection Prevention and Control training.
Medication competency (where applicable).
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
Ability to work under RN delegation and supervision.

Highly Desirable

Community nursing experience.
Wound care experience.
Knowledge of aged care standards and clinical governance.
Experience using electronic care management systems.
Understanding of person-centred and culturally safe care.
Experience working within home care or veteran care environments.
