What you'll be doing
The Clinical Support Officer will provide timely and accurate administrative/transactional services for members of the Allied Health care team under the direction of the Department Heads of Allied Health and the Administration Coordinator – Allied Health. The CSO will work under broad supervision but will be required to take some independent action. Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures. Decisions affecting the overall functioning and management of the departments remain the responsibility of the Department Heads and the Administration Coordinator – Allied Health.

Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.

Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software

Demonstrated knowledge of Health Systems e.g. health roster, ROB recruitment, Oracle R12, IPM, eMR

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
