The Role
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a high-performing software engineering team.
This is a hands-on role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications and RESTful services using modern Java technologies. You will play a key role in building scalable microservices, delivering high-quality software solutions, and supporting the ongoing evolution of cloud-native and distributed application platforms.
The ideal candidate will bring strong Core Java development experience, expertise in Spring Boot and REST API development, and a passion for delivering clean, maintainable, and high-performing software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications and REST APIs.
- Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot.
- Design robust application and data models.
- Apply Java design patterns and coding best practices.
- Manage builds and dependencies using Maven.
- Troubleshoot and optimise application performance.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years' Java development experience.
- Strong Core Java skills.
- Experience building REST APIs.
- Hands-on Spring and Spring Boot experience.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
- Strong OOP and data modelling knowledge.
- Experience with Maven.

- Docker and Kubernetes experience.
