Bar Tender - Spice Temple Sydney

About the Role Spice Temple Sydney is looking for a skilled and passionate Bar Tender to join our world-class team. We have both Casual and Full-time positions available for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in one of Sydney's most iconic restaurants, delivering a premium beverage experience that complements our refined regional Chinese cuisine.

We are dedicated to the art of traditional shared dining and a contemporary cocktail program. We provide our staff with extensive training, supportive leadership, and the resources needed to build a long-term career in the industry.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional beverage service behind the bar and assist on the floor as needed.
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during busy service periods.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of our cocktail program, wines, and spirits to guide guest choices.
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless and high-quality dining experience.
For full-time candidates, there is the opportunity to step into a supervisory role and lead by example.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a premium restaurant with a dedicated cocktail program.
Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages and a willingness to continue learning.
Experience working both behind the bar and providing service on the floor.
Ability to stay organized and calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Professional presentation and a commitment to high-quality hospitality standards.
