About the role
Are you passionate about leveraging technology, data and people processes to improve the employee experience? We're looking for an experienced leader to guide our People Systems team and drive the ongoing optimisation of the systems, reporting and processes that support our people from hire to retire.
Working within our People and Safety Group, you'll lead a team of specialists responsible for the delivery, support and continuous improvement of Water Corporation's people systems, analytics and reporting services. You'll partner closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure our people systems remain customer-focused, effective and aligned to the Corporation's strategic priorities.

As Team Leader - People Systems, you will:
-
Lead and develop a team of people systems professionals, creating a high-performing and customer-focused culture.

Drive the optimisation and continuous improvement of HR systems, processes and reporting capabilities.

Partner with People leaders, IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to enhance system functionality and improve user experience.

Oversee people systems governance, data quality, testing, system upgrades and service delivery activities.

Lead the delivery of workforce analytics and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insights and support strategic decision-making.

Support and deliver projects and change initiatives that improve people systems, processes and outcomes across the organisation.
About you
You're a collaborative leader with a strong background in people systems, HR technology or workforce analytics, coupled with a passion for continuous improvement and customer service.
You'll also bring:

A degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology or a related discipline.

Significant experience leading people systems, payroll, shared services, reporting or analytics functions.

Demonstrated experience implementing, managing and optimising Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).

Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

Experience delivering workforce analytics and translating data into meaningful business insights.

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence outcomes across diverse business groups.

Strong analytical, problem-solving and continuous improvement capabilities.
