Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist ready to step up to Senior Receptionist/ 2IC between two clinics - Burwood and Berwick. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk smoothly and efficiently in addition to providing exceptional care to our patients. You'll lead the team of receptionists and work closely with the Practice Manager to develop and drive the practice forward.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Day-to-day administration and lead reception operations

Staff Management including rostering, staff development and training new staff;

Maintain clinic accreditation standards and follow & update practice policies and procedures;

Implementation of new processes to improve quality, revenue, cost management, customer service and exceptional patient care;

Maintain awareness of current and new legislation to ensure business is complying with all statutory and regulatory obligations including industrial and employment laws, OHS requirements and privacy policy obligations;

Working closely with the Practice Manager.

SIA Medical Centre is a family-owned general practice group that has 8 beautiful centres and we are now seeking a Senior Receptionist/2IC for our medical practice in Burwood and Berwick.

SIA Medical Burwood is conveniently located near shops and offers ample on-site parking for your convenience with exclusive access to a soon-to-open cafe on site while SIA Berwick is located within Eden Rose Shopping Centre, next to Aldi

Essential:

Minimum 1-3 years administration experience;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Proven experience of managing administration staff;

Working knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS and Private Health Insurance billings;

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow;

Positive, can-do attitude and determination to make a difference for our patients and practice.
