The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen following an internal promotion. Join Venture Smart, a joint venture between Ventia and Johnson Controls, as an Operations Coordinator. In this role, you’ll support state wide ITS maintenance services and electrical capital works for Main Roads WA, contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of critical infrastructure across Western Australia.
In this role, you will coordinate daily operational scheduling, fault dispatch, monitoring and reporting, with a strong focus on meeting KPIs. You will also oversee planned maintenance, training and resource availability, while ensuring accurate and timely updates across client and business asset and work management systems.

Key Accountabilities

Manage customer asset management and fault reporting systems, including fault identification, triage, dispatch, updates, closure and stakeholder communication.

Ensure KPI/SLA compliance, accurate prioritisation, resource allocation, performance monitoring and escalation.

Deliver a high level of customer and stakeholder service across daily operational and fault management activities.

Proactively plan and allocate unplanned, seasonal and periodic works based on network requirements.

Use CRM and Asset Vision reporting to monitor faults, allocate resources and meet contractual requirements.

Plan, schedule and monitor Routine Maintenance programs, including resources, targets, milestones and weekly reporting.

Maintain accurate registers, calendars, rosters and contractual data, ensuring timely updates and data validation.

Manage third-party damage recovery, including incident reporting, documentation, cost capture, police reports and record keeping.

Support Supervisors and operational teams with incidents, accidents, complaints, equipment failures and unplanned works.

Monitor network failure trends and support development of mitigation strategies/business cases.

Manage electrical services, shared contractual mailboxes and key contract registers.

Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly contractual reporting and performance tracking.

Coordinate training, travel, payments and reconciliation for operational requirements.

Maintain strong working relationships with field teams, subcontractors, supervisors, employees, clients, government bodies and external stakeholders.
About You

Solid experience in a similar role, with proven capability in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on programs of work.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strong customer service, stakeholder engagement, coordination, and organisational capabilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and consistently meet competing demands, timeframes, and deadlines.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency across the Microsoft 365 suite, with the ability to transform data into clear, visually engaging graphs and reports for meetings and presentations. Experience with Power BI is highly regarded.

Experience using work management systems to effectively plan, coordinate, monitor, and report on work activities and deliverables.

Professional experience within electrical, communications, or Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) environments is desirable.

Experience in contract administration is highly regarded.
