About the role
As a Marketing Associate, you’ll be an integral part of the Marketing team, supporting the delivery of campaigns, digital communications and events that connect Lonsec with its clients and the broader financial services community. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to execute marketing initiatives that are on‑brand, on‑time and impactful. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys execution, collaboration and learning, with exposure across digital marketing, content, events and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver email marketing campaigns: Create, modify and send HTML emails using our marketing platform, ensuring accuracy, brand consistency and optimal delivery across all audience segments
- Support digital marketing activity: Assist in the management and execution of campaigns across digital channels, including audience segmentation, scheduling and performance reporting
- Manage social channels: Support the day‑to‑day management of Lonsec’s social media channels, including content scheduling, publishing, community monitoring and performance tracking
- Create compelling content: Contribute to the development of content for social media, the Lonsec website and other digital touchpoints that engage adviser and institutional audiences
- Support with web presence: Support updates and content management across the Lonsec website using a CMS such as WordPress, ensuring content is current, accurate and aligned with brand guidelines
- Manage ratings and research publishing: Coordinate the publishing and distribution of Lonsec ratings and research reports with fund managers, ensuring content is accurate, compliant, timely and aligned with agreed publication processes
- Manage ratings and awards approvals: Review and approve the use of Lonsec ratings and awards across client publications and marketing materials, ensuring compliance with Lonsec guidelines, regulatory requirements and brand standards, and managing the end‑to‑end approval process with internal stakeholders
- Support events: Assist in the planning and execution of Lonsec events, including logistics, communications and on‑the‑day support
- Collaborate across the business: Work closely with Marketing colleagues and stakeholders across Research and Sales to bring integrated campaigns and pitch packs to life
- Stay curious: Keep across industry trends, marketing best practices and the evolving financial services landscape, contributing fresh ideas and perspectives to the team
About you
- Two to three years’ experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally within financial services or a related professional services environment
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, PR, Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including creating, modifying and sending HTML emails
- Experience creating and publishing content for social media channels
- Proficiency in web content maintenance and working within a CMS
- Graphic design skills are an advantage, with experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar
- An understanding of AI‑enabled marketing tools and applications, with an interest in how AI can support content creation, campaign optimisation and marketing efficiency
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A genuine interest in financial services and a desire to grow, learn and develop your career
