We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable MC Driver / Despatch Support Operator to join our NSW team based in Arndell Park.
This is a hands-on role ideally suited to an experienced MC driver who enjoys being part of a team and is willing to assist with warehouse and despatch operations between transport duties.
This is a full-time position working predominantly Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, with overtime opportunities available. The primary focus of this role is completing local transport movements, deliveries, and collections. During periods where transport duties are not required, you will support our warehouse and despatch operations to ensure freight is prepared, loaded, and dispatched efficiently.
- Complete local metropolitan deliveries and collections.
- Operate MC vehicles safely and professionally in accordance with all road transport regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle pre-start inspections and report defects promptly.
- Load and unload trailers and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts for freight handling and trailer loading activities.
- Assist with freight staging, scanning, and despatch preparation.
- Verify freight against manifests and transport documentation.
- Complete transport paperwork and electronic records accurately.
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Support warehouse and despatch teams as operational requirements dictate.
- Current and valid MC Licence.
- Current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Previous experience of 3+ years' operating MC vehicles.
- Demonstrated forklift operating experience within a transport or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
