In this role, you'll:
Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies across Operational Technology and Critical Technology environments to strengthen organisational resilience and align with business objectives. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of strategic cyber frameworks and roadmaps, provide direction and mentorship to cyber planning teams, and ensure all initiatives align with organisational goals, compliance requirements, and risk appetite.
You will oversee resource allocation and budgeting for cyber programs, continuously monitor emerging threats and industry trends to refine strategies, and engage senior stakeholders to influence decision-making and set cyber priorities.
Additionally, you will establish effective governance, reporting, and performance tracking mechanisms while fostering continuous improvement and innovation in cyber planning processes, all while balancing long-term strategic priorities with operational demands, managing evolving stakeholder expectations, and ensuring adequate resourcing for complex and large-scale cyber initiatives.

About you
You are a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in developing and delivering cyber strategy, supported by a strong understanding of security frameworks and risk management across IT, OT, and IoT environments.
You bring proven leadership capability, with a track record of guiding teams and successfully delivering complex, high-impact projects, alongside well-developed stakeholder engagement skills that enable you to influence and collaborate at all levels.
You hold a relevant tertiary qualifications with a solid understanding of Operational Technology.
You are confident interpreting requirements, proposing practical solutions, and contributing to architecture design, supported by a strong technical background. Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 62443 and SANS ICS certifications (ICS 515, ICS 418, ICS 613) is highly regarded, while architecture credentials such as SABSA are advantageous.
You are resilient and adaptable, capable of operating effectively across both strategic and tactical levels and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact role within a complex and evolving cyber landscape.
