The Opportunity

We are currently looking for motivated and detail-oriented recent graduates to join our General Liability team in Perth. These positions offer a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced legal professionals and build a career in the legal industry. If you are a proactive individual with a passion for litigation, this role is ideal for you.

We welcome applications from students in their final year of study who are seeking a graduate role for next year, and can join us as a paralegal over the coming months, part time or full time, to gain hands-on experience and get to know the team at WK. We then award graduate offers for next year by 30 October to commence on 1 January 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Assist lawyers in reviewing and drafting advices, court documents, witness statements, settlement agreements and correspondence
Review medical records and expert reports to prepare chronologies and summaries of evidence
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Prepare briefs to experts and manage discovery of documents
Assist in managing communications with clients, barristers, and court
Prepare and organise materials for court appearances and meetings

What you need

Must have a law degree or have recently graduated
Must be able to commit to full time work
Must have full working rights in Australia
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
