The Rat Pit Digital Ltd is expanding our internal development operations in the Perth CBD. We are looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering group. This position focuses on writing clean code, building out responsive web interfaces, and maintaining server-side logic across our core digital applications. You will work alongside senior team members to deploy production-ready updates and maintain platform stability.
Daily Operations
Your time will be split between expanding front-end user experiences and supporting back-end data services. Daily tasks involve writing semantic HTML, custom CSS/SCSS layouts, and modern JavaScript features to build clean interfaces across mobile and desktop viewports. On the server side, you will create and modify API endpoints, interact with relational databases, and write basic tests to check code health. You will also participate in team code reviews and manage your code versions utilizing Git workflows.
Profile Requirements
We require a solid technical foundation in vanilla JavaScript alongside experience with modern environments like Node.js, React, or Vue. You should have a functional understanding of database management, basic SQL data structures, and standard version control repositories. This role demands a methodical, detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting script errors and resolving cross-browser layout discrepancies.
Candidates must possess valid, long-term working authorization specific to Western Australia at the time of submitting their application.
