We are hiring a mid-level Frontend Developer to support our Dental portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with React (mandatory), while knowledge of Next.js is highly desirable.
This is a full-time role with flexibility in location.
Opportunity Snapshot
As part of the Technology Team, you will utilise your web Frontend Developer skills to take responsibility for the delivery of high-quality, customer-facing visual and interactive elements which will be used in Bupa Digital systems to drive strategic outcomes for Bupa’s customers. The role will include requirement analysis, assistance with solution design, code development, unit testing and implementation of highly maintainable and scalable solutions. You will work within cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality applications using: .Net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Azure cloud platforms utilising industry standard software development best practices.
Qualifications and training
- 3-5+ years’ experience using JS frameworks
- A proficient understanding of web mark-up including HTML5, CSS3.
- A proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery.
- Experience with React JS
- A basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms and CSS in JS libraries such as Sass, styled components and emotion
- A good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React, Knockout JS, Backbone, etc.
- A good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX. Experience with Content Management Systems.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git.
- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring applications will adhere to them. Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
